Woah, Lady Gaga! On Friday, the 28-year-old pop star, known for her eclectic outfits, showcased a glamorous and daring look at the 2015 MusiCares Gala, honoring iconic folk rocker Bob Dylan, 73. Lady Gaga walked the red carpet with frequent collaborator Tony Bennett, 88, and was also photographed with him inside the event, which took place in Los Angeles.
She wore a black, sparkling, semi-sheer Versace halter gown that showed off her bangin’ bob…and major side boob. …from both sides. “Thank you @Versace for my beautiful gown right off the runway!” she tweeted. “This dress makes me feel strong!” She also posted on Instagram, “Thank you @Versace Tony loved my dress! Everyone support MusiCares they do wonderful work!”
Hours before the event, Lady Gaga posted a photo of herself getting ready–by working on her fitness. Dylan was honored with the title of MusiCares Person of the Year. He is one of the most famous folk rock singer-songwriters in the world and inspired civil rights and anti-war activists in the United States in the ’60s with his music. “I wasn’t a pop songwriter; I never even wanted to be that,” USA Today quoted Dylan as saying in his acceptance speech. “But it was good that it happened.” At the event, Bruce Springsteen performed a cover of the singer’s famous 1973 song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, which featured a guitar solo by Tom Morello, a frequent Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performer and former member of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, the newspaper reported, adding that Neil Young closed the ceremony with a rendition of Dylan’s 1963 hit “Blowin’ in the Wind. Other performers included Sheryl Crow, Jack White, Tom Jones, Beck, Norah Jones, Los Lobos, Alanis Morissette, Jackson Browne, Aaron Neville and Bonnie Raitt, USA Today said. MusiCares is the charitable arm of the Recording Academy, which votes for the Grammy winners.
Lady Gaga and Bennett are nominated for a 2015 Grammy for their joint album Cheek to Cheek. The singers are also set to perform together at the annual ceremony, which takes place on Sunday and airs on CBS at 8/7c.
